Recipe originally published by Foodista.com
Ingredients
1 banana (unripe)
1 teaspoon butter
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 pinch ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon rum, brandy or sherry (optional)
Preparation
Slice banana in half lengthwise and arrange in a shallow, oval baking dish or gratin. Add butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. If desired, drizzle with rum, brandy or sherry. Bake 8 minutes in a preheated 450° oven, or until sugar caramelizes and bubbles. Cool enough to avoid burning your tongue, then enjoy!
