Tell us a bit about yourself and how you found your way to a creative career.

Hey :) I'm Yarin. I'm 30 years old, currently based in Tel Aviv. From a young age I used to draw any living object, any time, any place. I'm most inspired by people and ordinary situations in life.

How did you find your medium and style, and who and what influenced you?

I like to try all mediums and styles but I find the best way to express myself is by using black pen and white paper.

What subjects are you most fascinated with?

People! And more specifically, I usually find myself staring at people on the street and converting them into shapes in my drawings.

What illustration trend are you either loving or hating at the moment?

Loving - handmade illustrations. With the raising of AI  I love seeing the real and raw result of people using pen and paper to express themselves.

How do you create characters, what inspires them, how do you use color?

It usually just comes from within. Or by looking at my cat doing weird faces. I love using color in unexpected ways, like coloring people in purple and the sky in green.

If you had to pick a favorite project, which one are you most proud of and why?

SiteofSites, it is a new go-to website for web design inspiration. You can find the coolest website on the internet. Those kinds of  websites can sometimes be generic but in our case with my drawing we make it lively and fun.

Describe your dream project.

I would love to be part of a big fashion brand, illustrating and designing  a cool new collection.
