Last week, we took the stage at the Awwwards Conference in Berlin! First off: Hagit Kaufman, VP of Design and Branding at Wix. She began by introducing the Playground and the collection of new templates we designed especially for professional creatives. The goal? To give them the freedom they crave for their websites, so that they can invent their own rules and bring their vision to life.

Next up, Erez Atias and Naama Hoffman, designers from the Wix Design team, shared the incredible story of a complex website built in record time. In two weeks, they had to come up with a crazy concept, original material, and to build the website itself. They went through the full cycle of creation, from a brainstorm turned sour, to the true bliss of achievement, the moments of doubt, and all the way back to satisfaction again. They ended up making the site about just that: the creative process.
