Hey, it’s Henry from the Wix Studio team.
Let’s go over how you can add a Wix Blog to attract, engage and convert your client’s site viewers into loyal customers.
Some site templates come with Wix Blog automatically installed, so you might already have one. If not, here’s a quick walkthrough.
You can add the Wix Blog app from the App Market, or by going to the add panel, heading down to Blog and clicking Add.
From here, you’ll be able to customize the blog's display settings to include the features you want…
And choose which information you want to show on the feed, like category labels, author names and publish dates.
Next, play around with different layouts to see which you like best.
Try changing the way posts are displayed, how your text will be aligned, and whether you want to use infinite scroll or pagination.
Next, pick your layout settings for the…
All Posts Feed the Main feed of the blog, where all the posts will live…
and for the Category Feed—if you’ve added categories.
Next up, change the look and feel of the blog by customizing the colors, fonts, button designs, posts, category labels, margins, ratings and video settings.
Try changing up more behind-the-scenes settings by going to main and Manage Posts, or by going to Blog from your Dashboard.
From here, you can:
Create and manage posts…
Manage your comments…
Set up categories…
Create and manage tags for your posts…
Add and manage writers on your team…
And set up monetization for your blog.
And that’s all it takes to set up a blog on your client’s site.
Head to the Wix Studio Academy for more lessons and tutorials.
See you next time.
