Hey, I’m Henry from the Wix Studio team.
Let’s take a look at how you can make your client’s ecommerce site more engaging, efficient and secure with Wix Stores.
With Wix Stores you can:
Display products in galleries.
Manage inventories and orders in one simple dashboard.
Provide customers with a secure checkout process.
And, start building sites with time-saving templates that already have Wix Stores built in.
To add a Wix Store, open up the Add Elements menu, click Store and Add to Site.
After adding Wix Stores, you’ll see a few new pages on your site. This is the Category Page, which’ll be the homepage of your store. And this is your Product Page, which displays info about an individual product. Both of these are dynamic pages, so you’ll only need to design them once to display all of your categories and products in the same way.
This is your Cart Page, where customers review their selected products before checking out. And your Checkout Page, where they’ll complete their purchases.
Members' pages are also automatically added when you add Wix Stores, so customers can log in and view their order status, store their addresses and manage credit cards for a faster checkout on repeat orders.
To learn how to add products to your online store, check out that tutorial at the link below.
And keep in mind, to sell products, your site will need to be upgraded to a Business Premium plan.
And as always, it’s a good idea to review the legal requirements for Wix features before adding Wix Stores, you can also check those out at the link in the description below.
Now you’re all set to add a Wix Store to your site.
Check out the Wix Studio Academy for more lessons and tutorials. I’ll see you next time.
