Hey, Henry here from the Wix Studio team.
In this lesson, we’ll cover creating custom onboarding experiences for your clients, including any training materials, tutorial videos and other
relevant attachments or contact details they’ll need.
The resources you upload to client kits are stored just once in your workspace storage, so they have no impact on the site’s storage capacity.
And, you can use the same assets over and over again, without adding to the overall storage used.
Head to Client Kits in your workspace, then click Create Client Kit.
Choose the site you’re creating the kit for and click Continue.
Add your resources and upload your files here, or choose from some
Wix Studio tutorial videos that might help them out.
Then, click Agency details and hit this Display details toggle to share your contact details.
When this is on, your contact info will be automatically added to the kit.
If you click Your Client, you'll see which client you set for this kit.
If you haven't invited a client yet, you can choose to either make them a collaborator or transfer site ownership to them.
Then just click Save to send the invite and share your client kit.
Once you save it, your kit will be displayed here, as a widget in your Dashboard.
Here, you can see the resources you added and how your contact details are displayed. Come back here to edit the kit any time.
Clients will also see the kit in this format, but without the option to edit it.
You can see all your client kits in one place by going to Client Success and then Client kits.
For a guide on how to transfer a site to your client, check out the link to that tutorial in the video description below.
And that’s it. You’re all set to create custom client kits with Wix Studio.
Check out the Wix Studio Academy for more lessons and tutorials.
See you next time.
