Hey, I’m Kayla from the Wix Studio team. I’m going to walk you through the Wix Studio workspace, and show you where to find everything you need to get started and manage your account.
If you already have a Wix Studio account, when you log in, you’ll land straight on the Discover page.
This is essentially your front page–it has everything you need to get started, like tutorials, updates and more.
From here, you can jump straight into creating a new site in the Studio Editor…
You can create from a blank canvas, from a Wix Studio template or from one of your own custom templates. You can also create on the Wix Editor.
Further down the page, you’ll find all the latest updates, like news and upcoming events.
And down here, you have a few options to play around and interact with the Studio Editor in different environments.
Next, have a look at other projects made in the Studio Editor for some inspiration.
Over here, this tells you whether you're the account owner or a teammate for the workspace. And if you’re a Wix Partner, this is where you can see your level and points history.
If you’re not already a Wix Partner, you’ll see a button to sign up for the program.
As a Partner, you get access to priority support, community groups and dedicated learning opportunities. Leveling up will let you apply for access to the Marketplace, a dedicated success manager and revenue share on your clients’ premium plans.
Back in your Workspace, you can see all your sites in one place, and you have more options to create, view, and manage your sites here.
You can do that using predefined views, filtering the list by different criteria and by creating your own custom views with filters.
Under the site actions, you can add a client kit with all of the relevant resources you want to give them when you hand over the site.
Under custom templates, you can create, save, and reuse your site templates across multiple client projects, saving you time and helping you to maintain consistency in your work.
To get started, just click Create New Template, then, you’ll be able to choose from one of the sites you created.
Under Custom Apps, you can create and manage Blocks components and
Add-Ons from within the workspace.
You can reuse Blocks assets across as many client sites as you want. Collaboratively tweaking the code packages behind them from site to site for functionality and event handling that's tailored to each client’s use-case.
When you’re done working on a project, from Client Reports, you can create and send your clients monthly analytics about how their site is performing.
All of your plans and domains are available here under Billing and Subscriptions. The most important information is highlighted here, like your upcoming renewals, unassigned subscriptions and more, so you can easily view and manage it on a daily basis.
Here, you'll see all of your open, in progress and closed customer care tickets to keep track of their status. You can use your history log to browse through previous solutions.
And again, if you’re eligible, you can see your revenue share payments and manage your marketplace projects here.
Under Team, you can invite new teammates, manage their roles and permissions, and more.
Under settings you can manage your business info, like its name and logo.
Now let’s look at your header.
With Wix Studio, you can collaborate with multiple agencies by joining their workspaces, all with one login. You can see all of your workspaces right here, including the ones you own and the ones you joined as a teammate.
Under resources, you can find educational materials and stay updated with the latest releases and more.
And here, you’ll find our community, support and more helpful content.
And there you go. Now you know how to navigate your workspace.
Until next time.
