TL;DR

During our first Open Studio we revealed tons of exciting updates that improve your creation flow, speed up growth, and give more flexibility for devs–all inspired by you. And this is just the start.

New revenue share plan for all partners

Partners, you can now earn 20% revenue share from every Studio premium site, starting with your first creation. Legends get an even bigger cut. You can also earn from your clients' sales through Wix Payments, so your profits grow alongside their success. And we’ve extended the revenue share potential to include selling mailboxes, logos, Google Ads and more—and a whole new dashboard to manage and track your income.

Wix Studio certifications are now open

You asked, and now they're here—industry-recognized Wix Studio certifications are live. Web designers, our first certification is for you. When you meet the criteria and fulfill all requirements, you can share your certificate and badge across your socials and sites. Stay tuned for more certifications in the future, covering SEO, Dev, and more.

Seamlessly update
Editor X sites to Wix Studio

Soon, you’ll be able to update your Editor X site to Wix Studio, with no changes to the live site. From January, we’re gradually rolling out the option to update your sites within the editor. Once complete, you’ll get access to new design capabilities and the Studio workspace to help you manage your projects and teams.

Press fast forward with new AI features

AI meta tag creator

This innovative AI-powered SEO tool will help speed up your workflows. With a click of a button, it creates optimized title tags and meta descriptions for your site pages based on the content, which can then be tweaked to match your desired tone.

Built-in Media AI editor

The essential media AI editing tool, Inpaint, will soon be native to Photo Studio, where you can add and remove objects from any image, directly from the editor.

Dev news, updates and greater flexibility

CMS quotas

We’ve increased CMS quotas on free sites for up to 10,000 items and 50 collections for Partners and Studio creators. Not only that, we’ve removed limits on data requests and have introduced the option to add additional CMS items for large projects.

Studio editor IDE

We’re bringing the full Velo IDE into Studio, giving you the freedom to choose whether you want to write code straight from your editor or work on the VS-code based environment.

Any NPM

Now you have the flexibility to work with any NPM package available on the NPM registry. Simply search and install without the need for requests.

New SEO resource center

The newly launched free SEO resource center has everything you need to guide your team from ideation to implementation, including an SEO checklist, cheat sheets and customizable work templates. These resources save you tons of time and will make your agency’s SEO workflows more efficient.
