Bordeaux is a city in southwestern France located right on the beautiful Garonne River. It's best known for its historic wine region, the famous Cathédrale Saint-André and the many old mansions and the stunning châteaux in and around town. But after spending the weekend there, my big takeaway was the food.
The restaurant scene of Bordeaux is flourishing. And that's no surprise thanks to the city's prime location for oysters, mussels, scallops, crab and much more making dinner at any of the city's trendy brasseries a total treat.
