I am building a news site for a client and I have asked them to stop using WordPress and give WIX a go. It is a political party and it is very news intense.
BUT, I need to be able to add posts from code to their blog as DRAFTS so the members of the blog can login and make them published.
Today they get a lot of news from different RSS Feeds around in Sweden and all feeds search for keywords inside the feed and if they matches their keywords they are added.
I need this function to be able to handle this is WIX, possible?
I have added a feature request for Wix Code and Blogging here
https://www.wix.com/code/home/forum/feature-requests/using-wix-blog-with-wix-code
I doubt support will help me, this will involve injecting custom code and using the blog API
Hi Scoobie,
These are not a Wix Code related topics, therefore you won't get the best answer here.
Please contact Wix Support for that, they know best.

For me the new Wix blog framework is something I'd like to tweak but not have to rebuild from scratch. Eg I like the input form, but maybe I'd like to add a field, I like all the membership. But I'd like to customise the way it's displayed, a smaller layout on mobile, increase the size of the heart button and move it's position
I can't expand more info . But please, if you have any requests, submit a feature request for it here.
We're doing everything we can to make everything possible.

@liran I am interested in this. Could you expand on what you are thinking of building? Is it inputting to the blog or outputting from it or both?
@Liran, I found a workaround: use the Blogger plugin, push new blogger posts via API (https://developers.google.com/blogger/docs/3.0/using#AddingAPost). @Andreas, this might work for you too by using the draft insert option (https://developers.google.com/blogger/docs/3.0/reference/posts/insert).
Hi,
Unfortunately, this is not possible (yet :) ), but will be in the future.
Liran.
@Andreas, have you figured out how to add posts from code (not DRAFTS)? I'm wondering if you have already figured that out if there's a way to modify the approach. I am still working on posting via the API.
