Hello to all Wix users and staff.
This is my use case: my website is for a real estate agency. There’s no user registration so all users are anonymous.
I use http-functions in the backend to recover my data from an external service (so I’m not using Wix collections).
Then, in the Home of the website, I have a repeater that shows 6 apartments per page (not using rows here, although I’m starting thinking that I should) and is correctly populated with the data. I added a second repeater for pagination.
This works without problem. When I click on the second page of the repeater, I can see the correct data.
I then added another page called Property Details, where I show the details of houses and apartments. From each item of the repeater, I use Wix-location to go to the new page adding a parameter to the URL.
In the new page, using the parameter, I filter my data to get what I need and show pictures and information.
All working.
Now, let’s say I am on the repeater second page and I click on item 4. I go to the Property Details page.
Now I want to go back to the second page of the repeater and scroll to item 4
My questions:
1 - Is there a way to achieve that just by clicking on the browser back button or do I need to add my own button and implement the logic there myself?
2 - I know there is Wix-storage available. Is that enough to accomplish what I want to do? If yes, how can I do it?
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
Did anyone get a solution to this? Many thanks
