Hi, I need to be able to go in on an ad hoc basis and grey out dates my customers won’t be able to get a delivery. I also need to be able to start the date selection options a minimum of 48 hours from the day a customer places their order as that’s how long it takes me before I can ship. I’ve had a quote of $900usd through ‘hire a partner’ to do this which seems very high to me. Is this sort of thing not standard when you have a date picker like being able to block out dates when an online store is closed? I’d love to know if anyone has done this so I can have a go at the code myself as I am a new business and don’t have $900 going spare. Thanks.

Hi @Sarah Jones , i'm looking for the same solution as you mentioned above. Do you have a solution for this? Best Regards, Nick
Thanks. I don't even need to go as far as selecting a pickup time I just want customers to be able to choose a delivery date but I don't want the options for delivery to start until 48 hours after they place the order and I need to be able to grey out dates that aren't available for delivery other than just the auto days per week the template lets you select.

Thanks for the reply - a few things have popped up lately that just seem awkward for e commerce and I’m only a small company with basic needs. Wondering if I should transfer to Shopify?? I’m going to have to find someone to do that for me I think on Wix as I don’t have the know how but I’d need to learn how to update the dates as can’t pay someone each time I need to change something.
yes this is usual for wix, unfortunately. simple request, complicated solution; I needed to set their countdown timer based on a future date from a database row. I had to build my own timer and message function to accommadate ( 15 minute job in a normal dev environment, 2 hour job in wix!!)
however i will say $900 is a little steep but i have not seen your set up;
you would need a custom database to hold your non dates, likely a custom element or html frame on page and a calendar plugin of some sort to go inside; most javascript involved plugins, like jquerys one, have an option to provide an array of dates not available;
