I am simply trying to add display ratings (star) module - user input to rate music - and running into a few different issues:
1. The properties panel does not show any event handlers for the display ratings module. Only options are Hidden and Collapse On Load. When I first started on this project two days ago, the event handlers were visible, but not any more. Also, the display ratings tutorial that I was referencing (for dropdown rating module) stated that the code should be added to the "on Change" handler, but the star rating module only had "onClick". I assume that the code would connect to "onClick".
2. When the properties panel did show the event handler options and I was able to enter the code, I was getting an error message when I substituted "#dropdown1" with "#ratingsdisplay1". I assume the following code is correct, after making the correct substitutions per the tutorial.

Looking forward to feedback and getting this issue resolved, thank you in advance...any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,We looked into it, it's a bug on our end and we are working in it.
In the meanwhile you can add the event using code, check out this code for example:
$w.onReady(function () { $w('#element').onChange((event, $w) => { console.log(event);//place your code here } ); });
Good luck :)

Hi anyone, need some help. I am going to post my code, ive gotten to the point where the input rating is entered but doesnt save, not to the database and doesnt update on the display side.
Hi,
The code you want to execute should be placed instead of the console.log (inside the brackets).
Thank you! Does the code you provided above go before the actual ratings display code I originally provided or does the ratings code go inside the example code you provided (before the "console.log" line)? Do you mind providing an example with the two pieces of code combined? I have tried a few different variations and have keep getting error messages, mainly "ratingsDisplay1 not a valid selector".
Thanks again,
Shane
