Hi! I'd like to create a registration form for an event where you can select how many people you wish to register and you are then presented with that many sets of first name, last name, age, etc. fields.
Is it possible to do this? Please help!
Important forum update
This forum is migrating to one unified Wix community forum starting July 26th, and will be read-only during the process.
Wishlist Page is the official platform for requesting new features. You can vote, comment, and track the status of the requested features.
It is possible, but I'd do it differently if I wanted to have a small limited maximum number of people that each person can register, or an unlimited number of people.
If you want to have only a small limited number of people (per each user), then you can just have the fields in boxes and collapse or expand them based on the selected number. See here: https://www.wix.com/code/home/forum/community-discussion/dynamic-form
(but you'll also may want to change the "required" value based on the chosen number: https://www.wix.com/code/reference/$w.TextInput.html#required )
If there's no max limitation, I think you should create a repeater (do not assign the repeater to the database) and populate it based on the selected number of people.
See my example page here: https://jonatandor35.wixsite.com/test/dynamicform.
But this is more complicated (especially to collect the data from the repeater fields and to submit it to DB).
