Hi! Has anyone tried it before?
I am designing a website for a client, and she wants to be able to hide and show a page (Events Page) depending if she has events available or not.
I have created her dashboard where she can edit texts and images, and would like to give her the option of hiding/showing from her dashboard, so she doesn't need to access the editor at all.
Is it possible?
Her Events page has Wix Events, and when there is no active Event, shows "events samples", what is unwanted.
Thanks! :)
Ivana
Hi All,
Thank you for your precious comments all the time and I am really fan of you guys. I hope you will be able to give me a solution.
There is an index page to show my items. I have linked a dynamic item page to display the details of the items. The problem is that I could not go back to my previous index points from dynamic page by any means. Can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks in advance,
Imtiaz
If I understand this correctly...there is no option to hide a page with code. I would like to hide a page with code in order to remove it from the menu depending upon who is logged in. Some members need access to pages that other members do not. (using roles). I have tried to make a menu with buttons and hide & show them but it is a mess on the mobile version (menus work better in mobile version). Any idea how to accomplish this?
Hi,
I'm afraid that currently there's no option to translate the menu. However, there's a workaround for this scenario. Please check out this thread with a full explanation of how to do so.
Have a good day,
Tal.
thanks. I want to translate my site to another language. there is a problem with mobile menu.
how can I translate mobile menu?
No. Can you please provide us with more information of what is your use case for hiding a page using code?
Thanks,
Tal.
Hi,
can I hide a normal page with code?
Hey,
I'm afraid that currently there's no integration of Wix Code with Wix Events, therefore it's impossible. I recommend submitting a feature request regarding this matter here.
Best,
Tal.
Hi Heson,
No, I am using the App Wix Events, nothing to do with my databases, so I believe I have no access.
Thanks though! :)
Hi ivana,
Does your WiX Events data get from database?
If yes, you just need to use items.length as a trigger.
If there are no items, hide or collapse the area.
Hope useful. Good luck,
Heson
