Hello all,
I have two data collections Profile and Participants.
Data collection Profile is setup as member profile page (as explained in forum here; with few additional fields) and is working fine! As per requirement, each member can enter event delegates' details in Participants data collection. While Profile is updated, member is also added as participant in Participants data collection, setting "_id":userId. Both the data collections and data entry forms are working fine till the time more participants are not added. When more participants are added, they get saved, but at the back when the user logs in again, it displays only the first record created while member profile was updated.
How to connect data entry pages so that it saves and shows all records (only) for the logged in user?
For Participants data collection, do I need to set _owner field value through code for more than one record?
When a member logs in, is _owner field self sufficient to save/show records created by only the logged in member? Or do I need to create and match a distinct field and establish relation?
Please help.
Thanking in anticipation.

If I understand correctly, a member in Profile can be a part of multiple Participants and Participants can include multiple members. This is a case of Many-to-Many relationship that should be handled by creating another database to hold the mapping of members to participants.
Another option is for you to wait for a feature that's currently being developed - Filter by Current Logged-In User - which might also do the trick for you.
