Wix editor doesn't allow me to set html data in a variable. For example "<" is not allowed. I'm trying to prepare an html document for sending it to dropbox.
Alternatively is there a way I can set the value of an html iframe from JS.?
Part of my code
contents = " <div id="invoice-POS"> <center id="top"> <div class="logo"></div> <............."
Thanks', I will read.
Refer to the HtmlComponent API documentation for more information. Look at the article Corvid: Working with the HTML Element for an explanation on how to use.
Here are a couple of examples that demonstrate how to use an HtmlComponent:
Example: Fullscreen with HtmlComponent
Example: Multiple Markers Google Maps
Thanks' for your prompt reply. Sending files to dropbox works perfectly in my sites.
I want to prepare some reports and invoice / receipt form using HTML and CSS. What is HtmlComponent? Is i it a script that I write and paste it to an embedded Iframe or to an embedded Custom Element? Or it's something I can write within JS?
You might be able to do this by writing your own script, to embed in an HtmlComponent, that will modify itself.
You also might want to consider using a Dropbox NPM library from the Wix Package Manager
.
