File Permissions for Uploaded Files via the Upload Button Element

When a visitor uses the upload button element, the uploaded file goes directly to the visitor's upload folder.

I would like to know how to set up permissions for a specific file or even for this folder in general.

Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.

Presumably if the database is set to have viewing permission only for the author of the article, wouldn't that meet your expectations?

in terms of permissions, anyone can write to the collection but only members can read it.

So, a visitor can enter the site, upload a picture using the upload button and I want only site members to view it. it's correct that only members can access the data in the collection.

However, the link that you can find in the media manager for this picture, can be opened by anyone.
