Velo certification is a great way to prove your web development skills to potential clients and employers, and gain an edge in the industry. It’s the only way to get an official seal of approval from Wix that you're qualified for the job.
Certification is a 2-step process that includes an online exam (multiple choice, 20 questions) and building a project with Velo according to specific requirements.

Hi Sarah,
I have received the congrats email from Wix on becoming Velo certified but the points haven't been added and the badge download fails (I get a page that just says "Forbidden" on it when I click on the link in the email.
Not a great experience for a site built on Wix!
Got Any Website Tips For Certification?

Are there still issues with the points being added to Partner Accounts? I completed the certification and haven't received the 100 points. Perhaps it is related to now being done on Wix Learn 🤔
Hello, I got certified yesterday. But I'd forgotten to add first and last name to my wix account, so my downloadable badge only says "simen", not Simen Kvamme Hatlem. Is there any way to get one with my full name? Also, not sure if the forum account is automatically given the badge or not, if not, I'd like to request it. Thank you!
@Marlowe (Wix) Hi, I got a wix velo certificate 4 days ago. 100 points not added to my partner level(I'm at 1900 points) and I haven't received a velo badge on the forum, is there another step I need to do or have I done something wrong?
Thanks.
Hello, I've applied for Wix marketplace but I'm redirection to Velo Certification. But the thing is, I'm already a certified developer.
I just want to confirm that this is not by mistake. Because, I got issues while applying to Wix Marketplace.
Then, after correction from wix team i give test. Now, in the test too I got the issues. I've got the passing marks but showing retake the test.
Although, I've raise a ticket for passing marks issue but still need answer to question "Is every velo certified have to give the test again while applying for marketplace?"
Looking forward to the answers :)
Hello, I got an email about I passed the Velo tests and I got my ID. But I don't have any badge in my forum profile yet how can I get it?
Hi Sarah, I am currently Velo Certified with my Agency. What is process for me to go through in order to receive a Velo Certified badge on my Forum Profile?
Hi @Rajjat Garg , I am sorry for my late reply, I just answered your email. As for the deadline, don't worry about this as this is only a recommended timeframe. We will gladly accept your project after this timeframe.
Hi, I've sent an Email with the details for clarification. But I didn't get the reply from 4 days. Only two days are left now. Please confirms to me about the details asap so that I can complete this.
Hi @Ekta Kapoor , thanks for reaching out. Our dev team usually reviews a project within 7 business days. Good luck!!
Hi, I've submitted the velo test for stage 2. I'm excited to get the response asap. Could you please let me know about the estimated time for the results?
Hi Ahmad, thank you for your feedback! As for the second point, I will share this with the team and discuss. I agree that it would be very useful.
Hey Sarah,
I have feedback on your last two points.
The "Velo Certified" badge would be great to easily tell who's verified in the forum and that their answers are trusted. I assume Velo Masters don't need that badge, do we?
Regarding the registry, don't you think a router page or a dynamic page with the certification number is much better and easier than asking our clients to visit the certification page, scroll way below to the bottom of the page, and copy paste our certification number into the field! Don't you think a link is better to display the data right away with only a click away?
For example:
https://www.wix.com/velo/certification/verify/4014-6724
Or:
https://www.wix.com/velo/certification/verify?id=4014-6724
Thank you
