I know that the Pagination Element is a built in element, so this post shouldn't be on the Velo pro discussion board. But today, my client texted me and said that the pagination was broken, and when I investigated it, I found a weird Velo message that I don't understand.
When I looked into it, somehow all the styles were reset (basically to nearly white over white), and the page numbers stopped showing between the < and >
The pagination used to be like:
< 1 2 3 4 >
Now it's just
<>
And the arrows are basically invisible because they're almost the same color as the background. I did not set the bar up this way. The color chosen isn't even in the client's site palette. I don't know how this got changed, but I decided to fix the layout and styles.
When I went to go re-style/reconfigure the pagination bar, I chose "Change Layout" and the Bar Layout configuration UI gave me this message:
"Velo is turned on so pagination style may default to icons on your live site."
I Googled it and looked on various Wix forums but did not find the answer.
What does Velo have to do with the built in pagination bar styling and layout?
This looks like it is indeed what's happening, because my pagination is using <> icons, and not the pagination that I set up. But why? Why does using Velo change the pagination element in this way?
