Sorry for posting it here, but there's no other place I can look for an answer (I believe Wix support won't help me with that).
So I have a script to change the page background color on the tracking&analytics section (unfortunately Corvid doesn't support that. Why not by the way?).
It works great for static pages, but it fails to work on dynamic pages.
So my question for you is if any of you has ever succeeded to apply any code from the tracking&analytics section on dynamic pages (if yes, I'll try to figure out what I'm doing wrong).
So a couple of quick points here.
1: The CM Slack channel is not intended to be VIP support; it's intended to be a place for our most devoted users/community leaders can directly report issues/bugs to Wix and get answers on what's possible with Corvid/Wix. As those who are in there already know, the questions often exceed the Corvid realm and we still try to get answers. The Wix folks in the slack channel are not support personnel, and yes their responses are pretty sporadic. They are, after all, building and developing Corvid for Wix. :) Anything CM related; what is, what isn't, what it should be - it's an on-going conversation between the CMs and Wix. =) Marlowe opened a thread and the masters are welcome to jump in here.
2: The purpose of this category is really to create a space for our most advanced users/devs and let you all share your knowledge. The spirit here should be more focused on collaboration and help from the top Corvid folks and raising the level of the conversation. The other places in the forum contain very mixed levels of conversation so the aim here was to have a richer level of discourse. The goal here was to create good conversations between our higher end members and provide read-only access to the rest of the community. That's a work in progress product-wise... but one day! Until then, let's continue building each other up and creating the space we want our larger community to be. =)
Thanks team!
Taking your lead and possibly making this a little more off topic .....
When a Corvid Master feels they will not get a response from Wix Support on a question that is (sort of) relative to Corvid, shouldn't the CM get support from the actual Wix Developers that are IN the Corvid Master group? Isn't that what that group is for? To provide 'VIP assistance' and guidance when you need advice or work arounds? (Can't say I really received reciprocated feedback, hence why I am not there anymore.)
So --- that would mean this is the correct place to ask your question. Right? This is where developers and experts should be holding their conversations?
Although -- I have not seen any conversations in this Corvid Forum Category from actual developers. Or in any Forum Category.
So maybe your question can be asked within the Corvid Masters Slack channel instead?
(Just the same. The CM group made the Tracking & Analytics as part of topic of conversation in a Webinar, I believe, so I don't see why it's not a question that belongs on this Forum.) If it's a question of 'Why does Corvid not support that' then it really should be feedback you should receive from the Developers.
As far as advice from an experienced user:
Wix Documentation is still not up to date. One can only guess there seems to be an internal organization or prioritization problem and that is why documentation is not up to date. That leaves the Corvid user guessing as to what is or is not possible until they actually test it & try it. Right now the only true way of knowing if something is possible or if a workaround exists is just by posting questions in hopes that someone will reply. Or of course ---- there's the other way of finding out ----- ask in the Corvid Masters Slack channel.
Hey J. D. đ
I tried that before but without any luck, in terms of style customization we're stuck with the very basic functionalities like changing buttons' colors (still not perfect).
Once #Wix starts taking this seriously we might witness its availability in Corvid APIs, but I don't think this will be in the near future.
