I had a page that was once called /photo-original in the SEO basics settings. I have since changed it to simply /photo.
However, any time I hit the refresh button in the browser /photo defaults to /photo-original.
I have tried this in multiple browsers and completely different computers, cleared cache, etc. I have checked and double checked the settings. /photo-original does not exist at all on my website.
Here are the settings in SEO basics:
But when I do this:
The page always forwards to this after a refresh:
I've had this problem for months and have no idea what to do. Any clues?
For anyone else running into this issue, it was caused by Wix automatically creating redirects when I rename pages and change the URL. I eventually found the redirects page the SEO section and got this sorted.
As i know open a new private browsing window (incognito mode) in your browser and access the URL. Private browsing windows typically don't use the cache, https://www.targetpayandbenefits.review/ so you should see the latest content or if the above steps don't work, you can try appending a unique query parameter to the end of the URL when refreshing. For example, add "?v=1" or a random string like "?timestamp=123456789" to the URL. This tricks the browser into thinking it's a different URL, forcing it to fetch the latest content.
