Ive got a container box with a bit of text inside. Above the box is a document - a PDF icon to be specific. In times past I have grouped them and had no trouble. Today, I select them and no pop up appears to enable me to group them. Ive tried every which way and no luck. Can someone help please?

Can we align an object with a line of text so that it floats with that sentence? My objects are PDF icons and Im trying to get a description (additional to the brief one beneath) adjacent to each PDF icon. I want them to stay together on different devices or when the screen size changes.

Can a button be added to the header so that, when it is clicked, a form pops up allowing the reader to send that particular page to someone they think may be interested?

I found the tutorial, 'Displaying Elements in Mobile only' and entered the following code: import wixWindow from 'wix-window'; $w.onReady(function () { if(wixWindow.formFactor === "Mobile"){ $w("#text122").show(); } }); However, I got a message, "TypeError: $w(...).show is not a function" The tutorial uses a button element in its example, so Im wondering if text needs to be treated differently? Any suggestions?

I have a list on one of my pages with links to 30 PDF files. Next to each PDF icon is a brief description. Unfortunately, the text and icons dont keep good alignment with each other, so I would like to place them in a grid or table. I looked at 'Wix Table Master' but there are simple tables in 'Lists and Grids' that might do. Can I put a put a PDF icon in the 1st column (linked) and text in the other? Do I have to go the data-base way, or can it just be a long list on the page? That would be my preference. Can you suggest where to go for this?

Hi, Is there an app I can put on my home page that revolves internal content randomly, so that each time a visitor comes they get a different experience? I'm developing a site that has links to various pages. Some pages are images, some are videos, some are podcasts, and some are text articles. So I want to select various items and display them on the front page. Hopefully they can switch every day?

Im in the process of adding a dozen or so podcasts to a single page putting them on 'strips' then using 'anchor' links from a simple index at the top of the page. However, I think a better idea might be to have all my podcasts (and videos) in a database and have my page pull out one at a time when a link on the page is selected. Can this be done, and if so, which tool/app would be best? Thanks

I'm planning on creating a custom image to use as a strip background. Although the strip is stretched, I don't want my image to tile. So, a couple of questions please: What width/height ratio should my picture be, and is there a suggested pixel dimension? Also, is png, jpeg or svg the preferred file type? Thanks.

My gallery will be for png clip art of varied sizes. I’m not interested in slideshows - just a bunch of pics on one strip area, then another bunch on the next strip, then another on the 3rd strip. I’d like to give each ‘bunch’ a heading, and each individual pic a caption. I’m happy for Wix to arrange them in whatever order that best fits the screen. Can someone save me having to look through the myriad of options out there, and suggest a simple gallery app?

I have a page with 3 strips and I'm in the process of fine-tuning sizes and placing elements etc. However the 2nd strip refuses to shorten. It can drag to a larger size, but not shorten. Yes, the other strips drag either direction, but not the 2nd strip. Heh??? So, I did some math and tried to enter the height directly into the toolbar. No luck there either. My carefully calculated number just reverted back to what it was before. Is this a glitch or what?

When experimenting with background colors, text colors, box colors etc, I have ended up with too many choices (little circles) in 'My Colors'. I would find it less confusing if only the ones being used are displayed. So my question is, can I delete the superfluous circles from 'My Colors'?

Im trying my hand at 'strips'. When I add columns to the strip, the column margins are different to the page margins. Why is that? Ive searched the strip settings and cannot adjust the column margins to conform with the rest of the page. Can someone point me in the right direction please.

I'm having trouble linking an image so that it goes to another page. I found a help article which said, any image on your site can be used as a button, and said:​ To use an image as a button: Click the image. Click the Settings icon . Under When clicked: select A link opens. Under What does it link to? click the Link icon . Enter the link details. Click Done. However, when I got to #4 there was no opportunity to enter the link details. Is there something Im missing here?
