Here's what I'm hoping to do: 1. I have several sections on the home page. For each section, I'd like to have a separate database. 2. However, I'd like to be able to have an "index" page which allows searching for key topics across all databases. For example: It's a health site that will have a breaking news section, plus sections for nutrition, recipes, weight-loss, etc. I'd like to populate each section from separate databases for convenience (and control over how many news items are displayed). THEN, I'd like to have a searchable archive page so readers can search past articles for their health issues. This archive would need to extract info from all databases. One more annoyance: I know you can add multiple databases with the editor BUT only one seems to show when I try to link an element!! See pics below... Editor shows 2 databases in site structure... But just one shows in editor workspace and drop-downs for linking. Why?????
Can you have multiple databases in ONE site? content media

I am trying to embed a hyperlink in a text box that is inside a repeater. It needs to link to the URL section of the database. When I try to connect the text to the database, I have only one option--which is to connect to the "title" data. There is NO additional option to link that "title" text to the "URL" section. How do I embed hyperlinks in text while connected to the database? The images allow a link to the urls in the database--but not the text boxes? It's silly to NOT have clickable text that is connected to the database...I hope I'm missing something!
